LIMPOPO – The police in Letsitele outside Tzaneen are urging anyone with information that can assist them in finding Luricia Dimakatso Makhutudise (13), to come forward.
The girl from Mugwazeni village went missing on 28 October, according to Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
“The teenager’s mother reportedly left home at about 18:30 to hospital, leaving her with her other siblings. When the mother returned later that evening, she was not at home and the other children did not know where she went,” Ngoepe explained.
A search operation was conducted at various locations including friends and relatives, without success.
“Anyone with information should contact Capt Shiluvhana at 082 469 0900, the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111 or the nearest police station,” Ngoepe added.
A search operation and police investigations are still underway, he concluded.
