Mojapelo says their arrest comes after the Limpopo Tracing Team, following up on information provided by Crime Intelligence, raided a house in Metz, Ga-Sekororo. The house reportedly belongs to one of the wanted men in this regard. “On arrival the police searched the house and managed to recover a substantial amount of money. An elderly woman (61) and her 27-year-old son who were in the house were placed under arrest after they failed to explain who the money belongs to.”

During the incident the police also confiscated three vehicles as well a National Defence Force uniform.

The duo are expected to appear in the Lenyenye Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of suspected stolen money and money laundering.
