Muni attending to power outage in CBD

Spokesperson for Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala says the fault has already been identified and a contractor is working on restoring electricity supply to the affected area.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality is working on restoring power to parts of the central business district following an unplanned power outage in the area.

Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala says the fault has been identified.  “A contractor is working on restoring power supply to the affected businesses along Grobler, Devenish, Thabo Mbeki and Landdros Maré streets.”

Selala added that electricity supply will be restored once the fault has been fixed.

Residents are advised to report electricity related challenges to the municipality’s electrical helpline at 015 023 5490 / 5705. For those that are supplied by Eskom, they can report to 015 299 0700 / 0860 037 566.
