104 new Covid-19 cases in Limpopo

No deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours

LIMPOPO – The province saw an increase of 104 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours and currently stands at 15 994 cases, 15 096 recoveries and 475 active cases.

The Capricorn district recorded the majority of new cases (41), while Waterberg recorded 36 new cases, Mopani 15, Vhembe 10 and Sekhukhune two. The most new cases were recorded in Polokwane (22), followed by Blouberg (18) and Lephalale (16).

The Limpopo Health Department said no deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours; 423 people have died from the virus in the province.

Thus far, 101 024 tests have been conducted of which 49 102 were done by the public sector and 51 922 were done by the private sector.
