Limpopo Covid-19 active cases below 500

According to the Limpopo Health Department, 423 deaths have thus far been recorded.

LIMPOPO – According to the latest figures released by the Limpopo Health Department, the province currently has 479 active cases of Covid-19. Thus far, 423 people have died from the virus, while 14 989 people have recovered.

A total of 15 891 Covid-19 cases have been recorded to date. The department says 70 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, of which 26 were in the Capricorn district, 21 in Waterberg, 17 in Mopani, four in Vhembe and two in Sekhukhune.

The most new cases were recorded in Polokwane (19) followed by 12 in Lephalale. Thus far, 99 754 tests have been conducted of which 51 489 were done in the private sector and 48 882 were done in the public sector.
