Covid-19: Confirmed cases in SA now at 669 498

The Department of Health reported 64 new Covid-19 related deaths

As of Saturday, 26 September, 969 new cases of Covid-19 were identified in South Africa, bringing the total number of cases to 669 498. The Department of Health reported 64 new Covid-19 related deaths:

This brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths to 16 376.

The total number of tests conducted to date is 4 128 438 with 11 359 new tests conducted since the last report.

The number of recoveries currently stands at 601 818 which translates to a recovery rate of 89.9%.
