[WATCH] Pietersburg Laerskool put their best foot forward for the #JerusalemaChallenge

Gr 7 learner, Johan Visagie was the DJ for the day and made sure the vibe was just right for the challenge. 

POLOKWANE – During President Cyril Ramaphosa’s national address on 16 September, he urged all South Africans to take part in the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge whether at home, school or work, as part of this year’s Heritage Day celebrations.

The call came to unite South Africans through one challenge and Pietersburg Laerskool answered the call by accepting the challenge.

The Gr 7 learners gathered in the school hall which was led by teacher, Charlott van der Burgh. The learners put their best foot forward on Wednesday 23 September and were spurred along by Gr 7 learner, Johan Visagie, who was the the DJ for the day.

During the routine, learners also participated in a ‘dance-off’ among themselves.

Raeesa Sempe
