Covid-19: 725 new cases brings SA’s total to 661 936

The country's recoveries stands at 591 208, which translates to a recovery rate of 89.3%. 

As of Monday, 21 September, 725 new cases of Covid-19 were identified in South Africa, bringing the total number of cases to 661 936. The Department of Health reported 39 new Covid-19 related deaths:

This brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths to 15 992. The total number of tests conducted to date is 4 047 723 with 6 180 new tests conducted since the last report.   The country’s recoveries stands at 591 208, which translates to a recovery rate of 89.3%.
