103 more Covid-19 cases in Limpopo

As of 10 September, 13 129 people have recovered from the virus.

LIMPOPO – The Department of Health in Limpopo says no new deaths related to Covid-19, were recorded in the last 24 hours. The latest statistics by the department says 257 have died from the virus thus far.

A total of 87 458 tests have been conducted thus far, of which 43 887 tests were conducted in the public sector and 43 571 tests were conducted in the private sector.

As of 10 September, 13 849 people have tested positive for the virus in the province, and 13 129 people have recovered from it.

According to the department, 463 cases are currently active.

In the last 24 hours, 103 new cases were recorded. The Capricorn District had the most new cases with 34, followed by Waterberg (29), Mopani (17), Vhembe (13) and Sekhukhune (10).

Polokwane had the most new cases (30), followed by Ba-Phalaborwa with nine new cases. Lephalale, Greater Tzaneen and Thabazimbi each recorded seven new cases.
