The Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) has started various programmes and activities to welcome the president’s announcement of the country moving to lockdown level two.
Tourism was among the first industries to be closed in March and the LTA, in close collaboration with the Department of Economic Development Environment and Tourism (Ledet), will implement its recovery plan based on brand maintenance, refocusing of provincial tourism and rebuilding of the industry as a whole.
Polokwane Observer spoke to some businesspeople in the tourism industry, to hear what challenges they still face due to lockdown regulations.
