Limpopo Covid-19 recovery rate at 92%

A total of 11 853 people have recovered from the virus.

LIMPOPO – According to the latest figures issued by the Limpopo Health Department, the province stands at 12 835 cases of which 803 are active. A total of 11 853 people have recovered and 179 deaths have been recorded.

A total of 72 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, of which the majority were reported in Polokwane.

The Capricorn District recorded a total of 20 new cases; 17 in Polokwane and three in Lepelle Nkumpi. In the Waterberg District; Thabazimbi recorded five new cases, six in Bela-Bela, five in Modimolle-Mokgophong, two in Mogalakwena and three in Lephalale.

The Sekhukhune district recorded nine new cases, with six in Fetakgomo Tubatse and two in Elias Motsoaledi. A total of 11 new cases were reported in the Mopani district, four in Tzaneen, three in Ba-Phalaborwa and four in Maruleng .

In Vhembe, 11 new cases were recorded; three in Makhado and eight in Thulamela. Three cases are in transit.
