Kyle Kruger, Polokwane Branch Manager of the Apcan Security Group says local business owners should always be vigilant when exposing money in their cash register.
This comes as the company recently noted from security camera footage from one of their clients, a woman walking into the store and going up to the cash register to pay for her items.
In the footage the woman can be seen at the register, asking the cashier something.
“We think there was some conversation between the two, and the woman was able to take and hide some of this money in the flap of her purse before she returned some of the notes and walked off.”
The woman was able to get away with R1 800.
Kyle says his clients have not opened a case at the police but he advises business owners to always be vigilant.
