Limpopo Covid-19 recovery rate at 88%

A total of 10 544 people have recovered from the virus.

LIMPOPO – According to the latest figures issued by the Limpopo Health Department, the province stands at 11 927 cases of which 1 222 are active. A total of 10 544 people have recovered and 161 deaths have been recorded.

A total of 148 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, of which the majority were reported in Polokwane and Fetakgomo Tubatse.

The Capricorn District recorded a total of 34 new cases; 29 in Polokwane, four in Lepelle Nkumpi and one in Molemole. In the Waterberg District; Thabazimbi recorde 14 new cases, seven in Bela Bela, six in Modimolle-Mokgophong, four in Mogalakwena and three in Lephalale.

The Sekhukhune district recorded the 32 new cases, with 19 in Fetakgomo Tubatse and 13 in Elias Motsoaledi. A total of 27 new cases were reported in the Mopani district, 12 in Tzaneen, eight in Ba-Phalaborwa, five in Giyani and one each in Letaba and Maruleng municipalities, respectively.

In Vhembe 21 new cases were recorded; nine in Makhado, seven in Thulamela , four in Collins Chabane municipality and one in Musina. Three cases are in transit.
