LIMPOPO – The unemployed 29-year-old Thabelo Ngwana received the house on Thursday from the ministry, under the leadership of Prophet Innocent Muritho.
Ngwana was over the moon when Muritho, SABC Livhu and other donors handed over the house.
According to Ngwana he used to lived in a one-roomed house and the little money he makes by doing odd jobs was not enough for him to build himself a bigger house. “This is a great achievement in my life. The house will also be used as a studio for the online community radio I recently started,” said Ngwana.
He added that he would invite young talented comedians and actors to showcase their skills, which could further help create jobs.Muritho said he was born and raised in Phiphidi village and knew how rural communities suffered.Ngwana’s house is one of six that they are building this year, he said.
“We appeal to other business people to help change life for the better for our vulnerable members of society.”
He said they first became aware of Ngwana’s living conditions through a post on social media, upon which they decided to respond.
