LIMPOPO – The N1 North road between Louis Trichardt and Musina is open once again following an earlier incident where a fuel tanker overturned and caught fire.
LIMPOPO – The N1 North road between Louis Trichardt and Musina has been temporarily closed after a truck overturned and caught fire.
Spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Mike Maringa says a fuel tanker overturned about 7 km north of Louis Trichardt. “The tanker overturned in the middle of the road and is currently on fire.”
No injuries have been reported as yet, he adds.
Motorists travelling from Musina towards Polokwane are advised to use the Williespoort turn off to Thohoyandou, as the Witvlag turn is not accessible.
Those travelling from Polokwane to Musina are advised to use the Thohoyandou road.
