Limpopo Covid-19 recovery rate 89%

A total of 10 281 people have recovered from the virus

LIMPOPO – According to the latest figures issued by the Limpopo Health Department, the province stands at 11 541 cases of which 1 099 are active. A total of 10 281 people have recovered and 161 deaths have been recorded.

A total of 128 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, of which the majority were reported in Polokwane and Fetakgomo Tubatse.

The Capricorn District recorded the most new cases, of which 47 were recorded in Polokwane, three in Lepelle Nkumpi, three in Molemole and two in the Blouberg municipality.

The Sekhukhune district recorded the second most new cases, with 21 in Fetakgomo Tubatse and six in Makhuduthmaga, two in Elias Motsoaledi and one in Ephraim Mogale municipality.

A total of 20 new cases were reported in the Waterberg District; six in Thabazimbi, four in Lephalale, four in Bela Bela, three in Modimolle-Mokgophong and three in Mogalakwena.

The Mopani district recorded 14 new cases, seven in Tzaneen, four in Ba-Phalaborwa and three in Giyani.

In Vhembe six new cases were recorded; two in Thulamela and two in Musina and two in the Collins Chabane municipality. Three cases are in transit and three are unallocated.
