Itumeleng Chidi is hosting a virtual women in business and leadership seminar with the theme; You educate a woman, you educate a nation.

POLOKWANE – With the theme; You educate a woman, you educate a nation, Itumeleng Chidi is hosting a virtual women in business and leadership seminar on her Facebook page until 31 August.

This will be the fourth annual event the academic, social entrepreneur and motivational speaker will be hosting during Women’s Month, as a way of celebrating women and a means of learning from one another. She says women have shared knowledge on various topics related to women’s issues, challenges and successes.

Chidi told Review that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and panic to many South Africans with an increase in job losses and many suffering from mental health issues, living in fear and loss of relationships.

“Choosing this theme will allow the speakers to educate other women on various topics that affect women during this period. Speakers will share information and assure women that no matter what they are facing, they need not lose their confidence and self-esteem. They will also share tips on how to improve their business, give them hope, assist them to stop living in fear, how to have better relationships and how to focus on their health,” she explained.

Chidi said there will also be a session on gender-based violence, adding that the event comes at a time when many women are going through a lot.

“The sessions will create an enabling platform to learn from each other and share experiences. I invite all women to stay glued to my Facebook page, Itumeleng M Productions, to learn more from women such as Onicca Moloi, Tumelo Mmoa, Tsaki Mkhari, Sally Sithole, Pastor Hawkins, Sewela Sa Moshabi, Naomi Mamakiri and Mamodupi Lekekela. This is definitely an event not to miss,” she said.

The cost of the seminar is free and only data charges apply.
