Limpopo police arrest 3 outside Modimolle

According to Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, they have been linked to 11 incidents in the Waterberg district.

LIMPOPO – The police in the Tuinplaas policing area outside Modimolle arrested three men, aged between 34 and 42.

Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe said in a statement that the men were arrested yesterday after they were cornered by community members at Ga-Botha village.

“The police were notified and the men, who sustained some injuries, were arrested and taken to a local hospital for medical treatment under police guard,” Ngoepe said.

The men have been linked to 11 cases ranging from house robberies and residential burglaries to stock theft. Ngoepe added that these robberies were committed between May and July in the Waterberg district.

The suspects are set to appear in the Modimolle Magistrate’s Court soon and police investigations are continuing, Ngoepe concluded.
