Sportsvendo, the same company who brought the unprecedented successful, The Color Run to South Africa, in partnership with Warner Bros and DC comics in South Africa is bringing the Justice League™ Virtual Run series to your neighbourhood. They have partnered with institutions that provide relief and make financial contributions to beneficiaries such as Headstart Kids, who provide special nutritional food packs to children aged six months to five years old. More organisations to benefit from the series will be announced at a later stage.
The Superman Run held on Sunday, 19 July was a success so there are still four more superheroes to choose from.
Chose your hero:
Wonder Woman Run on Sunday, 9 August.
Aquaman Run on Sunday, 6 September.
Batman Run on Sunday, 4 October.
The Flash Run on Sunday, 8 November.

As part of your entry each Super Hero participating will receive a Super Hero Kit which will include:
- Collectors Edition Medal (customised per event so make sure you collect all the Superhero kits).

How it works:
Starting time: 08:00 on the event day.
Starting point: Your front door, as this is a virtual run you can plot your own route in the neigbourhood.
How to plot your route: That’s the beauty of a Virtual Run/Walk! Seeing that this is a fun, family-based event you can plot your own route (of distances 2.5Km, 5Km, 7.5Km or 10Km) in your neigbourhood.
How am I timed: This isn’t a timed event. Sometimes the journey is better than the ticking clock so take the time to truly celebrate being back on the road and breathing some fresh air. However for our 10km runners wanting to track their improvement simply vist our results page on our website to record your 10k time and for more details on our 10km challenge.
Results & Timing:
The Justice League™ Virtual Run Series is all about fun and empowerment for you and your home crew. It’s more about challenging yourself than beating the clock. We are an untimed event and look to create an event focused on the experience rather than the results sheet. Of course, there is nothing stopping you from creating friendly competition via the various fitness tracking apps and seeing who comes out top of your friends/family log.
