LIMPOPO – The N1 south between Modimolle and Mookgophong is open following a collision on Friday afternoon that claimed the life of one person.
Six people sustained injuries.

LIMPOPO – A fatal collision between a truck and sedan resulted in the closure of the N1 between Modimolle and Mookgophong on Friday afternoon.
According to the Spokesperson for the MEC of Transport, Mike Maringa, one person was certified dead on the scene and six others sustained injuries.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the sedan was hit from the rear by the truck.”
Maringa added that all four lanes were closed at 17:00 and will remain closed for another two hours. Traffic has been diverted onto the R101.
