Limpopo cases top 4 500-mark

Thabazimbi in the Waterberg district recorded the most new cases

LIMPOPO – The Limpopo Health Department says 331 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the province in the last 24 hours.

Three more people have died from the virus, bringing the total to 45. One of these deaths was in Greater Tzaneen, one in Mokgalakwena and one in Thabazimbi.

The department says 2 063 people have recovered from the virus, while there are currently 2 416 active cases.

Waterberg district recorded the most new cases (106) followed by Capricorn (87), Sekhukhune (59), Vhembe (46) and Mopani (26). Of this, Thabazimbi had the most new cases (84) followed by Polokwane (74).
