Parts of Bendor without electricity
The estimated restoration time is around eight hours, according to the local municipality
POLOKWANE – A power outage which has affected parts of Bendor is being attended to, says the muni.
The Spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala says the outage was the result of cable theft.
“The 11 kilovolts (kV) line which supplies power to the affected area was stolen,” he confirmed.
He added that the municipal electrical team is working on restoring power supply to the affected areas. “The estimated restoration time is around eight hours,” he concludes.
