Lim Covid-19 cases nearing the 1 000 mark

Polokwane reported 15 new cases in the last 24 hours

LIMPOPO – The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Limpopo stands at 956 with 439 recoveries, and five deaths on Monday, 29 June.

According to a statement released by the Department of Health, the province recorded 73 new cases in the last 24 hours; 15 in Polokwane, 12 in Fetakgomo Tubatse, nine in Thabazimbi, five in Lepahale, four in Elias Motsoaledi, three in Mogalakwena, two in Ba-Phalaborwa, two in Letaba, two in Tzaneen, two in Thulamela, and one each in the Blouberg, Lepelle Nkumpi, Maruleng, Bela-Bela and Modimolle-Mookgophong areas, respectively. 12 cases are unallocated.

The department confirmed that the province currently have 512 active cases, three in transit and 21 unallocated.
