Missing Phalaborwa woman’s body found 

The cause of her death is unknown at this stage.

LIMPOPO – The body of a 31-year-old Phalaborwa woman who was reported missing earlier this week, was found near the stadium in the city on Friday, 25 June.

Ruth Manganyi was reported missing to the Phalaborwa Police Station by her family on 23 June after they failed to reach on her cellphone and could not locate her at her place of work or her place of residence.

Police Spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo says the body of the deceased was spotted by a passerby in the bushes between a block of flats and the Impala Park Stadium at 16:00.

Police were notified and arrived on the scene to find the body of a woman. Mojapelo says the body was found in a state of decomposition and has since been identified by the family as that of Ruth Manganyi.

The cause of death has not yet been determined as investigations are ongoing.
