Power outage in Seshego due to cable damage
Residents are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live.
POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality is working on restoring electricity supply to the Seshego area after an electrical cable was damaged by a contractor.
The areas affected include Zones 1, and 2, Circle Shopping Centre, Luthuli Park, Madiba Park and Extension 73.
In a statement, the Spokesperson for the municipality, Thipa Selala says electricity supply will be restored to the areas once the electrical team has fixed the damage caused to the cable. He adds that it will take around three to five hours to fix.
Residents in the affected area are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live and switch off appliances to avoid damage.
