Limpopo Covid-19 cases jump to 303, with 185 recoveries

Of the 19 new cases reported, five are in Polokwane.

LIMPOPO – As of 13 June the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Limpopo stands at 303, with 114 cases still active.

According to the latest figures released by the Department of Health, the province has recorded 19 new cases in the last 24 hours; five in Polokwane, six in Fetakgomo Tubatse, two in Lepelle-Nkumpi, two in Mogalakwena and one each in Tzaneen, Ba-Phalaborwa, Maruleng and Bela Bela, respectively. One case in the Vhembe area was reallocated to the Eastern Cape.

The department confirmed that 20 953 tests have been conducted; 12 175 public of which 20 tested positive and 8 778 private, of which 283 tested positive.

Sekhukhune district now has 35 active cases and 107 recoveries.

The number of recoveries recorded stands at 185.
