Scuffle leads to assault charges

LIMPOPO – A case of assault and theft involving the well-known publisher and editor of a small tabloid newspaper, and a well-known comedian and philanthropist Livhuwani Madadzhe (31) has been postponed by the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court to 24 June for further police investigation.

According to Livhu, the case was the result of a physical scuffle between the two, upon which he laid a charge of assault and theft. The editor did not want to comment on the matter, only saying he wished the trial had started already.
