Limpopo Covid-19 cases now at 226

The department confirmed that the Sekhukhune district now has 27 active cases and 90 recoveries.

LIMPOPO – As on 7 June, the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Limpopo stands at 226, with 158 recoveries.

According to the latest figures released by the Department of Health, the province recorded a total of four new cases in the last 24 hours; two from Fetakgomo Tubatse, one from Thulamela and one from Thabazimbi. Three of these cases come from mines in the respective areas.

The department confirmed that the Sekhukhune district now has 27 active cases and 90 recoveries.

A total of 18 118 tests have been conducted; 10 376 public of which 16 tested positive and 7 742 private of which 210 tested positive.

The number of active Covid-19 positive cases in the province now stands at 65.
