Limpopo’s Covid-19 cases jump to 171

A total of 19 cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours,  17 of which are retrospective cases from the Sekhukhune district.

LIMPOPO – As of 30 May, the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Limpopo stands at 171 with a total of 12 238 tests conducted.

According to the latest figures released by the Department of Health, 19 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours; one in Polokwane, one in Thabazimbi and 17 in Fetakgomo Tubatse, all of which are retrospective cases which were never reported with the initial batch on 13 and 14 May.

Sekhukhune district now has 11 active cases and has recorded 83 recoveries.

The province has recorded 140 recoveries, while a total of 28 cases remain active.
