Thorisho delivers while you stay healthy, indoors

Thorisho Lesofi saw a need in his community and took the opportunity to make an income for himself

LIMPOPO – When an ambitious young man from Makotse village queued in a shop at a mall in Lebowakgomo, he identified a need in his community and neighbouring villages.

Thorisho Lesofi realised how many residents were in the shop to buy handsanitiser and masks and he decided to turn this into a business opportunity for himself. Lesofi decided to start a business where he sells masks and sanitiser, which he delivers to his client’s doorstep.

He says he is grateful for the support he gets from local people. “I sell my products in Zebediela and Ga-Mphahlele. My services saves people time and transport costs. My masks are sold at R30 while the sanitiser start from as little as R40. The main reason why I deliver at people’s doorstep is to keep them safe at home during this pandemic.”
