Limpopo’s Covid-19 cases spike in last 48 hours

While the province had 59 Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, this number has now risen sharply to 89.

LIMPOPO – The number of positive Covid-19 cases in Limpopo has increased by 30 cases in the last 48 hours.

On Saturday, the provincial number stood at 59, while by Monday, 89 positive cases have been confirmed.

According to the latest figures released by the Department of Health, five new cases were recorded in Sekhukhune district, two in the Waterberg district and one in Capricorn.

The province has recorded 37 recoveries and a total of 50 cases remain active.
