Limpopo’s latest Covid-19 figures

One person is currently hospitalised. Here is the provincial breakdown:

LIMPOPO – The total number of positive Covid-19 cases in the province stands at 37, with 27 recoveries and two deaths, according to the latest figures released by the Department of Health.

Out of a total of 631 identified contacts, 401 have completed the 14-day monitoring period with no symptoms reported. One person is currently hospitalised and there are eight active cases in the province.

As of Sunday, 3 May the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa stands at 6 783, with 2 549 people having recovered from the virus.

According to the Minister of Health, Zweli Mkhize eight more people have died, bringing the number of deaths to 131.
