Progressive Student Movement hands out free sanitiser to rural areas in Limpopo

The programme, which spans two regions in the province, has already distributed more than 220 bottles of sanitiser

LIMPOPO – The Progressive Student Movement in Limpopo’s provincial executive committee, embarked on a programme to donate free hand sanitiser to those in marginalised rural areas.

The programme, which spans two regions in the province, has already distributed more than 220 bottles of sanitiser in Moletjie under the Capricorn district and Fetakgomo in the Sekhukhune district. The aim of the campaign is to provide relief and support for marginalised citizens in the communities, who stay in far-off areas.

According to the PSM Provincial Chairperson Noko Mabotja, the sanitiser initiative was initiated by PSM national executive committee, led by President Kabelo Nthekiso and Secretary General Ruth Munano who also distributed groceries to residents in Atteridgeville, Loskop and Louis Trichardt.

Mabotja said the sanitiser is organic and approved for use. “We acknowledge the work and contribution of those who came on board to inject funds for the project, and for the moral support for our communities,” Mabotja commented.
