Shoppers at Mall of the North took some stress off their feet to make a difference in somebody’s life when they donated blood at the South African Blood Service (SANBS) blood drive on Friday.
With the Easter season approaching, blood reserves in the province have to be augmented to meet the demand that is experienced every year and SANBS Limpopo Collections Manager Bethuel Mokonyane said that 24 units of blood were harvested at Mall of the North on Friday. “Every drop counts and if we can only save one life, we have already made a difference to someone in need,” Mokonyane said.
