The COVID-19 virus is affecting every aspect of the lives of all South Africans and the annual BB Group/Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100 Charity Golf Day that was scheduled for 26 March is one of the many upcoming sporting events that were cancelled after the declaration of a National State of Disaster.
President of the Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100, Horst Meyer and Director of the club’s Community Services Avenue, Fred Hurter said in a media release that the new date for the event will be announced later. “The arrangements and format for the event will be unchanged and fees already paid will be kept in trust,” it was stated.
“We trust that you will join us in accepting that the decision was in the interest of all concerned,” Meyer said.
