The study and reference areas of the city library in Library Gardens will be closed until further notice to allow for urgent renovations and maintenance activities that have to be executed in line with occupational health and safety standards.
Spokesperson for Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala said in a media release that the book section of the library will not be affected but could not indicate when the work will be completed.
“Polokwane Municipality expresses sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused,” Selala concluded.
