Fashion influencer brings his craft to Polokwane

POLOKWANE – Don Ledwaba is a fashion influencer who is breaking ground when it comes to street wear.
The Polokwane based fashion stylist and designer is creating one of kind fashion pieces under his agency Dr.Sstyles Styling Agency. He has always had an interest in fashion but it was only after interning at a clothing store that he realised his full potential.
The young influencer realised that he has the potential to take over the fashion industry when he tried his luck in Gauteng working in a clothing store. He became the go-to-guy for clients who looked for someone who could put together a killer outfit. “It was a fun time for working at the store and building my reputation as a stylist. However, Johannesburg can be a cruel place as it is not easy to survive there as a young person without the anchor of family. At some point, I knew I had to swallow my pride and come back home because I was tired of the struggle,” he said.
He did not see coming back as a failure but rather an opportunity to bring his craft to Polokwane. He makes one of a kind item pieces which make a statement when you wear them.
He sees himself owning a clothing store and his brand becoming one of the most sought after. He hopes work with industry greats one day. He is already creating brand awareness on social media and constantly puts out new fashion items.
He explained that fashion is an industry which requires passion and dedication. You have to be on top of your game to remain relevant in the fashion industry, especially in a world which is ever evolving.
