#WFD – Chicken with Spring Onions and Mustard

POLOKWANE – Chicken is a versatile meat as it can be made in many different ways.

What’s for Dinner suggests adding a tasty twist by cooking chicken with a spring onion and mustard sauce.

Ingredients

  1. 750g skinless chicken fillet breasts, whole
  2. 10ml Robertsons Paprika
  3. 30ml oil
  4. 8 spring onions, chopped
  5. 1 x KNORR Chicken à la King Dry Cook-in-Sauce
  6. 400ml water
  7. 15ml dijon mustard
  8. 15ml italian flat leaf parsley, chopped

Method

  1. Rub chicken breasts with paprika
  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan and brown the chicken breasts
  3. Add the spring onions to the pan and fry for 2 minutes
  4. Mix together the water, contents of the sachet of KNORR Chicken a’la King Dry Cook-in-Sauce and mustard until well blended then pour over the chicken
  5. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through
  6. Stir in parsley and serve
