#WFD – Crunchy Oven-Baked Chicken Drumsticks

Place tray in the oven and bake at 200°C for about 1 hour.

POLOKWANE – Everyone loves a good piece of freshly fried chicken, but too much of a good thing can be bad for your health.

Baking is a much healthier option and with this recipe by What’s for Dinner, your family won’t want their chicken any other way.

Ingredients

  1. 100g wheat breadcrumbs, whole
  2. 1 x KNORR Roasted Vegetables Veggie Bake Sauce
  3. 8 chicken pieces
  4. 100ml low fat milk
  5. 125g margarine
  6. 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  7. 5ml salt

Method

  1. Mix breadcrumbs, KNORR Roasted Vegetable Bake and seasoning in a bowl.
  2. Dip chicken pieces into milk and then into the breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Place on a greased baking tray.
  4. Melt margarine with garlic and pour over the chicken.
  5. Place tray in the oven and bake at 200°C for about 1 hour.
