No loadshedding expected over the long weekend

However, loadshedding could be implemented should there be a change in the system.

POLOKWANE – Eskom says there is no loadshedding expected from 14-16 December as “a result of a drop in demand and generating units returning as scheduled.”

The power utility, in a statement, said the demand for electricity is expected to reduce significantly over the long weekend. “Eskom will use emergency reserves to supplement capacity if necessary.”

However, loadshedding could be implemented should there be a change in the system.
