POLOKWANE – Chicken à la King is a dish consisting of diced chicken in a cream sauce, and often with sherry, mushrooms, and vegetables, served over rice, pasta, or bread.

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion
- 500g chicken fillets, skinless
- 500ml low fat milk
- 100g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, sliced
- 15ml sunflower oil
- 1 x KNORR Chicken à la King Dry Cook-in-Sauce
Method
- In a pan, brown the onions in oil, add the chicken, pepper and mushrooms and brown for 5 min.
- Add cold milk to the pan, stir in the contents of the sachet of KNORR Chicken a’la King Dry Cook-in-Sauce and bring to the boil while stirring.
- Simmer uncovered for 25 min, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with brown rice.
