Businessman offers R100K reward after he was shot at local restaurant

Matome Sefalafala offers R100 000 reward for information which can lead to the arrest of those involved in his shooting on Sunday morning.

POLOKWANE – The local businessman was shot inside CoFi at Savannah Mall at around 02:40 on Sunday, 1 December. He explained to Review that he was about to leave the restaurant when he saw men trying to push their way past the bouncers into the restaurant.  One man managed to enter, and approached him. According to Sefalafala his bodyguard moved in between him and the man. The man shot his bodyguard and then shot Sefalafala  in the shoulder and chest area.

According to Sefalafala and the police, the shooters fled the scene in a silver Toyota Corolla.

He says that the R100 000 reward is for any information which can assist the police and lead to the arrest of those involved in the shooting.

Savannah Mall Centre Manager, Karen Botha confirmed the incident and says that the CCTV footage has been given to the police for further investigation.
