Reabetla Creatives makes your furniture dreams come true

Madia Refiloe Pila's (38) makes each piece of furniture from scratch and ensures craftsmanship of the highest quality

POLOKWANE – Patience is what sets Madia Refiloe Pila’s (38) furniture apart from others’ craftmanship. Refiloe started Reabetla Creatives this year and says he loves what he does and that is why he takes his time to make the furniture he makes look good and comfortable for his clients.

Refiloe grew up with a love for working with crafts and turned his hobby into a business where he uses various materials according to his clients’ needs.

“I taught myself how to make furniture and worked hard to start my own business. I decided to open Reabetla Creatives this year because I realised that I could make a profit through the use of my own talent and skills,” he said.

Refiloe was born, and grew up in Moletji Moshate, attended Mokgoba Primary School and matriculated at Seshego High School in 1999. He studied cost and management accounting at Tshwane University of Technology and also did financial management at Ekurhuleni West College Kempton Park (EWC) where he graduated from in 2004.

Refiloe makes couches, bed sets, chairs, tables and customised furniture for anyone who would like to own something unique. He told BONUS that when he makes his furniture from scratch, he ensures that everything is positioned properly so that when someone sits on or sleeps on the product, they are as comfortable as possible.
