POLOKWANE – For those who love pasta as well as salad, a pasta salad is always the best of both worlds!

It is typically served as an starter or a main course, pasta salad is often regarded as a spring or summertime meal, but can be served year-round using a variety of different ingredients.

Knorr’s What’s for Dinner website gives a delicious recipe for a three bean salad.

Ingredients

  1. 250g fusilli noodles
  2. 1 x 400g tin butter beans, rinsed and drained
  3. 1 x small red onion, finely sliced
  4. 30ml dijon mustard
  5. 45ml fresh coriander, chopped
  6. 1 x 400g tin red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  7. 1 x 400g tin green beans, rinsed and drained
  8. 1 x red pepper, finely chopped
  9. 250ml KNORR Light French Salad Dressing

Method

  1. Prepare pasta according to packet instructions, drain and rinse
  2. In a large bowl mix together the pasta and remaining ingredients
  3. Toss together well and serve.
