‘We demand feedback’ – Mokopane march will go ahead as planned

Roads that will be affected during this march is Nelson Mandela Drive, Thabo Mbeki Drive as well as Retief Street.

MOKOPANE – The organisers say the march will not be another shutdown but rather a peaceful march

Following the earlier announcement by the organisers that they will once again take to the streets in a march on Tuesday 26 November, it was today agreed in a meeting with the Mokopane police that the members will instead march peacefully on Monday 25 November.

Members of South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco), Mogalakwena Task Team (MTT) and Mogalakwena Concerned and Affected Citizens (MCAC) will march to the Mokopane Police Station to open cases of fraud against municipality officials and thereafter the march continues to the Municipal Building in Retief Street where they will demand feedback for the memorandum that was handed over to the police on 1 August.

Roads that will be affected during this march is Nelson Mandela Drive, Thabo Mbeki Drive as well as Retief Street.
