[WATCH] Building in Polokwane CBD up in flames

As a result, Hospital Street between Biccard and Landros Mare as well as Hans van Rensburg between Hospital and Excelsior Streets are closed

POLOKWANE – The Gome store, between NJ Market and the SABC on the corner of Hospital and Hans van Rensburg Street is on fire.

According to Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala, the municipal fire and rescue team is attending to the situation.

“As a result, the following streets are temporarily closed to allow our fire and rescue team to extinguish the blaze: Hospital between Biccard and Landros Mare Streets and Hans van Rensburg between Hospital and Excelsior Streets. Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution.”

The reason for the blaze is unknown.
