Car chase in Bloodriver leads to the disappearance of Seshego man (21)

Justice Ramashiya was last seen by his friends after being chased by an unknown group of people in Letsokoane village, Bloodriver

POLOKWANE – Police in Seshego have activated a search operation with the Search and Rescue Team and the K9 Unit for 21-year-old Justice Ramashiya following his disappearance on Thursday, 31 October.

Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe says Ramashiya, who resides in Seshego Zone 2, was with his friends when they were allegedly chased by a group of unknown people travelling in a Combi, while in Letsokoane village, Bloodriver.

“While being chased, the victims ran in different directions and Ramashiya has not been seen since.  A friend went to check up on him the following day and realised he was not at home, ” he explained.

Ramashiya’s parents then searched for him around Seshego and nearby areas and attempted to contact him on his cellphone, which was off. The matter was then reported to police on Saturday, 2 November.

Ngoepe says Ramashiya was last seen wearing a blue jersey, black jeans and black sneakers. 

“Searches and investigations are currently underway. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ramashiya should contact Constable Alli Maluleke on 061 445 7602; the crime stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest police station,” Ngoepe’s statement concluded.
