LIMPOPO – A 34-year-old man is expected to appear before the Nebo Magistrate’s Court today, 17 October, for the rape and murder of six-year-old Boitumelo Matsekoleng.
Police Spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo confirmed to Review that Matsekoleng was first reported missing on 29 September and later found with serious injuries.
Matsekoleng died on Tuesday, 15 October, after having been in ICU at the Pietersburg Provincial Hospital for the past two weeks.

“A 34-year-old man was rescued by police after having been assaulted by the community. He was then arrested,” Mojapelo said. The man was charged with abduction, rape and murder.
