#WFD – Tuna and Ratatouille Pasta

This dish will take around 10 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to cook.

POLOKWANE – For those that don’t know, ratatouille is a French stewed vegetable dish usually containing tomatoes, onions, zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers, garlic, marjoram and basil.

This recipe by What’s for Dinner combines tuna and certain vegetables together with pasta to create one delicious dish.

Ingredients

  1. 15ml oil
  2. 1 onion, chopped
  3. 250g courgettes, sliced
  4. 1 red pepper, diced
  5. 1 x KNORR Tuna Mate Cheddamelt
  6. 250ml milk
  7. 800ml hot water
  8. 2 tins tuna (in brine)

Method

  1. In a large saucepan, fry the onion, courgettes and peppers in the oil for 3 min.
  2. Add the sachet of Seasoning Spice blend (contained within the box) with 250 ml cold milk add 800 ml hot water to the vegetables in the pot.
  3. Add the tuna and pasta (contained within the box) and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.
