Gro your Mo and you could become Polokwane’s first Mr Movember

POLOKWANE – The hairiest month of the year is growing closer. With this in mind, Polokwane Bros will grow their Mo to help raise money and create awareness for men’s health in aid of the Movember Foundation South Africa.
The Movember Foundation is the leading global men’s health charity, funding over 1 200 men’s health projects in 21 countries worldwide – focused on men’s health initiatives, suicide prevention and testicular and prostate cancer.

So Bro, register on 1 November with a clean face, grow your Mo during the month, collect donations and if your Mo impresses the judges, you can walk away with the Polokwane Mr Movember title.

Registration takes place at Container Bar on Friday, 1 November at 13:00.
But wait there is more, Martin Bester and his band will perform at the main event on 30 November at Bolivia Lodge! Beers, burgers and entertainment for men await the guests at the prize giving, not forgetting about the women off course. Bring your partner, show off your Mo and support this worthy cause.
Tickets for the main event cost R100 per person. All ticket holders are automatically entered into a lucky draw. Tickets will be available on registration day as well as at Alpha Sand offices. Alternatively contact Hercules Janse van Vuuren at 071 355 1122.
Anyone can buy a ticket, not only to contestants. No under 18’s.
This great initiative is part of the #PolokwaneCares initiative which aims to raise money for the Movember Foundation. All proceeds will be donated to assist the foundation in obtaining their goal in educating men of the dangers of testicular and prostate cancer, and to break the silence on suicide among men.
